Learning Hand Piecing

   Am sewing along with a group on FB where we are learning hand piecing . Once a week we are given instructions for a block.
   Found this to be very relaxing even tho my first block didn't come out the right size but found out why do ripped it out and did it over. A very helpful group!

   My first block was about 1/4 inch to small.

Not all that easy to rip out hand stitching! But I got it done without any problems. Re did my lines to sew on and it came out just the right size. Learned something new!

Even the back doesn't look to bad.

Now I need to wait for next week and a different block with a new learning experience.
